Backstage is a Content Management System (CMS) developed by Anthem Design. In a nutshell, it allows you to easily update the information on your web site without having to know anything about how to program a web site. You can update text information such as news articles or show dates, as well as upload files such as mp3's or photos for your photo gallery.
Backstage is a web application, which means that you can access it using any type of web browser running on any type of computer that is connected to the internet. You simply log in with your username and password. Take a look at some of the sample screenshots to the right to see what it looks like.
Backstage does
not allow you to change the actual layout of your site or change pictures that are incorporated into your custom graphics. It is designed to allow you to update the information and files that you need to change on a regular basis.
Backstage is currently only available for use with sites hosted by Anthem
